This historic landmark hotel offers a great location – borders on Theater District and Back Bay. The Hotel underwent a major renovation in 2001, the lobby is quite impressive has that old world feel, rooms are just ok. The hotel offers many options when it comes to room size, the economy rooms are tiny (but you can get them cheap), bathrooms are small typical of many older city hotels. It’s a very busy front desk area so checking in can be a bit of a wait. Compare price on this with other hotels in Boston before deciding.
