Mijas town hall have arranged a series of “pairing events” this month to allow visitors try Spanish wines, olive oils and cavas. The tastings at Mijas Wine Museum will have a distinct menu to pair food with each particular wine, cava or olive oil.
The first event takes place November 11th at 1pm and will pair olive oil tasting with aperitifs. The fee to attend this event will be 10€ per person.
On November 17th, there will be a pairing of red, white and sweet wines with gourmet tapas. Malaga is famous for its sweet wines and this is the perfect opportunity to try some and find out what food best suits each wine. This event starts at 1pm and costs 25€ per person.
Finally, there will be a Cava tasting featuring Cavas from different regions of Spain. Each Cava will be paired with some gourmet tapas and the event takes place November 25th at 1pm. Cost is 25€ per person.
