Calanova Golf Club is a great par 72 course located just outside La Cala de Mijas. The course is only a few years old and was designed and built to USGA standards, specifically in relation to greens, bunkers, tees and drainage. The layout of the course is spread out offering panoramic views across the rolling countryside and Sierra de Mijas mountains.
The fairways of Calanova golf are wide with many greens over 500m2 and elevated. Bunkers and water hazards are scattered throughout the course. Medium handicap players may find the course challenging and possibly rewarding with many birdie opportunities. An interesting concept is that the tees are situated at different angles and levels giving the opportunity to vary how to play the course.
