Public Tours
Individuals and groups less than 10 people are invited to attend the following:
Tuesday – Saturday at 11 AM & 1 PM and Sunday at 1 PM

Vertical Tours
Saturdays, 12 noon & 2 pm. Tours last approx. 1 hour.
Climb 124 feet through spiral stone staircases to the top of the Cathedral. Get a look at the huge scale of the nave restoration and study the grand architecture while standing on a buttress. The tour culminates on the roof with a wonderful view of the Morningside Heights area of Manhattan. Space is limited to 10 people, and reservations are recommended. Bring a flashlight. $15 per person; $10 per student/senior. All Vertical tours meet for registration at the Visitor Center inside the Cathedral entrance, at 112 Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Please call in advance as tours may be suspended due to Cathedral cleaning and restoration. Monday – Saturday, from 7 AM to 6 PM,
Sunday 7 AM – 7 PM, July and August the Cathedral closes at 6 PM on Sundays
